Modern dental practice continues to develop at a faster pace. Initially dentists rely merely on paper and film based systems but are now turning towards digital software allowing the practice to be more efficient and functional. More recently, area of the most fast paced changes has been digital imaging, the latest of which is digital radiography. However, digital cameras and intraoral cameras are still relatively the dentist’s choice in term of return on investment. In this way, dentists have revised a way wherein they can inform heir patients of their conditions, contact the laboratory, document cases for insurance purposes and follow up patients’ progress.
